How could homosexuality be a sin of it is a natural thing that the individual has no control over it?

God created people, people created what they thought should be sins I am a christian but I do not think that homosexuality is a sin because God himself never wrote it. people passed down things as years went by and unfortunitly that was one that came along wih it. If God created you the way you are I dont understand how that can be a sin and I dont believe it is, God loves us all no matter what we do and its society that makes things like being homosexual look bad.


Remember the bible wasnt written by God it was written by people who took the things that they though sounded good and made a book out of it.

You DO have control over it. That's like saying, (if this was true) "How can chocolate be a sin if it is a natural thing that the individual has no control over it?" If God told you that it was a sin to eat chocolate...find something else to eat, same thing with homosexuality -- if God tells you that it's a sin, go find someone else and get over it.

It seems to me that for the most part people who consider homosexuality a sin do not believe that it is a natural thing - they believe it is a choice.

I like 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 best: "What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. 11 And yet that is what some of YOU were."

Re-read verse 11... "And yet that is what some of YOU were."

Straight people have a choice whether or not they will have sex out side of marriage.... we all have a choice whether or not we will steal something, act greedily, get drunk, etc. It also says we have a choice whether or not we will act homosexual. Even IF someone has an inborn tendency to be gay, they have a CHOICE whether or not they will act on their desires.
We are more than animals. We can control ourselves. It just takes persistence, prayer, and total trust in Jehovah God.

Sin is to transgress God’s Laws. In God’s eyes, it’s a sin.

Everyone sails their own ship (free will), so have a good trip.

However, God's the judge ... last I heard He doesn't want or need our help. Here's what His Word says about it:

Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination, and in Leviticus 20:13, If a man lies with a male as with a woman both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death; their blood is upon them.

And if you think the NT does away with the Law, here’s what Christ said:

Matthew Chapter 5:17-18

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Luke Chapter 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

Jude 1:7 "In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire."

Heb 13:4 "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."

Furthermore Jesus said concerning marriage "at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’" of which he took as a precedent for marriage

Sexuality is a societal construct and only exists in our head. It isn't real. Practicing the intimate art of lovemaking with someone you love is the most beautiful thing in the world regardless of gender.

No one is forced to pull their pants down and engage in a sexual act, unless its at gun point or rape. People have control over their bodies.
