Wow, such objectivity and honesty - taking refuge from addressing the issue properly by "excluding" Muslim to bash them with stereotypic notion.
If ppl from various "cultures" can dress however they want, including being topless at the beach, why is that when a Muslim chooses to dress as you quoted would be "wrong"? What sort of "freedom" idealism is that?. Additionally, do you think typical Muslim women all over the world are like that, or you are only living in a similar "cave" as of the fundamentalist extremist?

Why does the woman have to make compromises?
If men did'nt ogle women there would be no problem.
A woman can dress modestly without having to wear bedsheets in public.with only her eyes showing.A woman with self respect does not need to hide behind a bedsheet. It is suppression and oppression.
If the men were made to dress like that they would kill themselves. If you the asker is male try dressing like that and tell me if you like it?

I wouldn't ask her to change her clothes regardless of what the situation is. She has the right to dress as she sees fit. I have the right to say she looks fat in what she's wearing. I can't say "You're not wearing that, wear something less, or more, revealing" because that would be.. like.. dictatorial.

Why do some people ridicule the way Muslim women dress? I even find it funny when they are Christian.. Isn't it very similar to the way they draw Virgin Mary (peace be upon her)?

1 Timothy 2:9-10.....Likewise I desire the women to adorn themselves in well-arranged dress, with modesty and soundness of mind, not with styles of hair braiding and gold or pearls or very expensive garb, but in the way that befits women professing to reverence God, namely, through good works.

She doesn't wear tank tops now and I don't tell her what to wear. I doubt she would cover her head unless it was raining and covering everything but her eyes would be dangerous because I don't tell her not to drive either.

I would love and respect her choices. I would not tell her how to dress. If she wished to dress with muslim modesty, I would honor her choices, if she wished to dress as a total $lut, I would still honor her choices.
If I cannot love her for who she is, I don't deserve to call her my wife.
