Depends on whether the perpetrator is a friend or not. And what he/she has done.
But to your question - neither would I get mad nor even. More specifically, I do not stay mad long, maybe a few hours. But THEN I do something else. With friends I leave them alone with their deed and thoughts for a long time, perhaps forever. I used to get a lot of revenge, but I do not have the heart for that any more. I've seen too many people, especially women, suffer, and I promised God I would not seek revenge, even if they deserve it. Your heart and conscience will rest better if you let it slide.
If it is not a friend, it's best to let it go as well.

Get mad, go over it and move on. Festering and seeking revenge will only hurt you in the long run. When we do good, good is returned to us.

I pray for them. I practice compassion and empathy..I don't 'get even' bc it takes too much out of my soul..It's better to "let it go" and walk away. Also, I want to remain a lady at all times, so I don't get into negativity EVER..

It kinda depends on what they did! If they did something really aweful, than you should retaliate in a way that you couldn't get pin-pointed on. If it was a catty dumb thing, you should just get over it and it'll be fine =)

I had my 93 year old Italian aunt put a SHMUNGA
(bad curse) on someone.
A year later he was bankrupt, IRS on his case, and business failing.
Did the curse work--or was he such a rat that things caught up with him?

An elephant never forgets and just remember "Living well is sweet revenge". you need not ever fall down because of someone elses stupidity. Move on--live well --they will notice.

It depends on what it is. I think when you hold a grudge, ultimately the only person you're hurting is yourself. You need to let it go.
