Assuming the creation of Eve interior the scriptures is actual, then her DNA could be 0.5 Adam's. she would be in a position to't be an entire clone in view that she is XX and he's XY. although, she could be as on the brink of Adam genetically as plausible, according to threat like a fraternal twin. in reality, we don't understand the place the mother and dad, genetic makeup, of Adam or Eve got here from. have been they genuinely son and daughter of God, like Christ. No, that could no longer be perfect because of the fact Christ exchange into the "only begotten" of the father. How have been they created from the dirt of the floor? we don't understand that. How exchange into Eve created from a rib of Adam? we don't understand that the two. Brigham youthful taught that Adam and Eve have been born of woman only like something human beings. They have been extra right here from one among God's different worlds with a view to start God's family contributors right here in this earth. if it is so, then Adam and Eve might qualify as extraterrestrials extra right here with the aid of God. Their mum and dad have been little ones of God the comparable as us yet on one among His different worlds. At some ideal time, they have been chosen for this important undertaking, to start the human family contributors in this earth. Can God do this? specific He can. If He lives interior the heavens and created all that we are in a position to be sure and then some, He additionally has the capacity to bypass to and from those worlds and convey His creations the place he will, at His will.

The description in Genesis is figurative, and meant to teach us about marriage. Here is David Rosenberg's translation:

"It is no good the man be alone," said Yahweh. "I will make a partner to stand beside him."...Now Yahweh put the man into a deep sleep; when he fell asleep, he took a rib, closed the flesh of his side again. Starting with the part taken out of the man, Yahweh shaped the rib into woman, returned her to the side of the man.

So woman was meant to be by man's side, as an equal partner. Man wasn't happy alone, he needed her next to him, according to this text.

The two main reasons I can think of that Christ needed to be born of the Father were: 1) that makes him a suitable ransom to reconcile us back into God's family - He had to have His own son in the flesh, on the earth, to recover us - who are in the flesh, on the earth. 2) Christ had to have power over death - power to decide when to die; otherwise, he wouldn't have the capacity to suffer all things, and His death would not be a gift - it would be taken from Him when He finally ran out of strength.

Are you kidding me?... One woman-rib is like a twelfth of a man-rib when it comes down to it... Call it sexist, but that's just the way that creation works... Of course, it only works that way because God made it that way, because an omnipotent God by definition has the power to change this at any time... But still, it is creation's fault for being sexist that Mary had to painfully squeeze a diety out of her crotch.

It's very small minded to ridicule things that other people hold sacred. If you don't believe, just shut up about it.
