The voice of true - Casting Crowns
Oh what I would do to have
The kind of faith it takes
To climb out of this boat I'm in
Onto the crashing waves
To step out of my comfort zone
Into the realm of the unknown where Jesus is
And He's holding out His hand
But the waves are calling out my name
And they laugh at me
Reminding me of all the times
I've tried before and failed
The waves they keep on telling me
Time and time again. "Boy, you'll never win!"
"You'll never win!"
Chorus:
But the voice of truth tells me a different story
The voice of truth says, "Do not be afraid!"
The voice of truth says, "This is for My glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth
Oh what I would do to have
The kind of strength it takes to stand before a giant
With just a sling and a stone
Surrounded by the sound of a thousand warriors
Shaking in their armor
Wishing they'd have had the strength to stand
But the giant's calling out my name
And he laughs at me
Reminding me of all the times
I've tried before and failed
The giant keeps on telling me
Time and time again. "Boy you'll never win!"
"You'll never win!"
But the stone was just the right size
To put the giant on the ground
And the waves they don't seem so high
From on top of them lookin' down
I will soar with the wings of eagles
When I stop and listen to the sound of Jesus
Singing over me
I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth

Spirit of God ( esp. verse 2 quoted below.)
I ask no dreams no prophet ecstasies
No sudden rending of the the veil of clay
no angel visitant no opening skies
Just take the dimness of my soul away.
I had sung this hymn many times, but this one Sunday, as I was thinking of what path my life was going to take, it was this hymn that made me realize that, the reason I had been rejecting the the thought of being a pastor, was because of what I was expecting the Call to be like.
It was this hymn that changed my life, and removed the roadblock that I had put down preventing me from entering the ordained ministry.

Any song featured on the "Songs 4 Worship" commercial on cable. I laugh so hard when I see those people in the crowd with their arms up, singing along to the horrible music. It's hilarious and frightening at the same time.

In a Christian worship:
Amazing Grace, but only when accompanied by bag pipes.
Most of John Michael Talbot's stuff, but 'One Faith' is definately my favorite of his.
In non-Christian worship:
Also, there is a Navajo chant which honors Grandfather Wolf which I play on special occasions and during various rituals in honor of Wolf that usually makes me weep.

It is a toss up between Amazing Grace, Who Am I and All My Praise.

For me it is really hard to pick a favorite because when you are worshiping God , truly He touches your heart. However I probably would say that UNFAILING LOVE is one of my favorites right now, due to the fact that He is proving Himself faithful to me, in the midst of struggles that I am going through.

Is your heart a manger and is there any room for him?
Is you heart a manger, does it cradle the babe of Bethlehem?
And if he came again tonight, would you let him in?
Would you bow down before him and worship him as your king?
With the heart of a shepherd, would you go in simple faith?
Following the angels’ song to the place where Jesus lay?
Would you bow down before him and worship him as your king?
Like a modern day wiseman, would you follow the light?
With a gift in your hands, be the rest of your life?
Would you bow down before him and worship him as your king?
