There are so many different possible commonplace explanations for an image like this (trick of light, defect in the camera, hoax), I have to remain skeptical. But, on the other hand, I've heard enough first hand accounts from credible people of similar things that I have to keep an open mind to it as well. Either way, they're cool looking photos!

Peter D seems to have some sense, an insect on the camera is definitely a good explanation. Alternatively it might just be someone's joke, this kind of stuff is easy with modern image editors. Personally I doubt the plastic bag theory, it just looks way too fuzzy. It also could be some kind of defect in the camera or the recording, or some kind of electronic interference. One thing I can assure you of, though, is that it is NOT a ghost.

The ghost isn't blue, it's probably white. The camera made it look blue-> On one of the news videos (Ch.19), the female reporter is shown thru the same gas station camera with a blue outfit on, when she reverts back to the actual news camera, her outfit is really red.

I love you Pangel, but I think it is much ado over nothing. There are already many logical explanations for the blue blob. I do believe this was one time that it was not an intentional hoax. Even if it turns out to have no logical explanation, does it change anyone's life for better or worse? That would be the only thing that would get my attention for long.

Photo cameras and video cameras are able to capture spirits. I believe that could be a spirit. The color blue means he is good. I just don't know why he/she would be there in a gas station.
I had a friend that her aunt was caught by a photo camera and I saw the picture myself. Her aunt had passed away. My friend and her parents went to a church and they posed to a picture in front of the church. After the photo was developed, her aunt was in the picture with them (her spirit that is). I was amazed and I saw the picture myself.
A long time ago, I also saw this wedding film where a spirit was caught by the video camera walking around in the church, followed by other spirit, as if he was walking with his guardian or something...
I believe that is possible to be a spirit, I can't say it is or not, but it could be.

It was not a ghost but a very embarassed driver checking out the amount per litre.He was going to fill up his taardus but decided fuel was too dear and headed off to another planet to find cheaper gas.

I saw that! I've seen it a few times since first hearing about it. I think it's just a small feather being blown about in the wind, and it just got stuck there for a half hour. It's not a ghost.

It looks to me like light reflecting into the lens off the camera hood (you'll notice that it's always in the same part of the picture). I've met a ghost, and he wasn't blue.

It looks like a fragment of plastic, possibly from a shopping bag, got caught it the housing. An algorithm to bring it into focus might elucidate the shape.

Ill admit it it could be a ghost. on the celebrity paranormal project, in a cell at a jail, there was also a blue figure moving in the distance. and since blue is cold or a real lack of heat, it could be just that.
I guess maybe god does exist afterall. who knows, maybe or maybe not.
