Jesus knew very well about the Muslims , the LDS , the Pastafarians , the Aborigines , the Native American Indians , the rain God Chac , the Fuddies , Tutankhamen , Zeus , Mithra and even the Catholics ...

Jesus Knew all about the hypocrites .. so Why pick on the Sumerians only ?

Was Jesus patronising and condensing his disciples because they did not know about Zeus, Tutankhamen and Global affairs ? OR are all the other faiths ‘ convertible ‘ and the Sumerians where the Atheists of their day ?

( I think it is to do with Fertile Ground , The path of least resistance )

The Sumerians were great debators and always won an argument. Jesus couldn't handle the pressure.

Christ said nothing about the Sumerians. He said not to preach among the Samaritans or among the Gentiles. It was because this particular preaching mission was specifically to "the lost sheep of Israel"--it was a mission to the Jews, undertaken before the broader mission to the whole world. Samaritans were not part of the mainstream Jewish community. Thus, they were excluded at that particular moment.

First off, you should get at least a little of your facts straight. Mohammed came over 300 years after Christ's crucifixion, so I'm guessing He wasn't talking about Islam, not to mention all the others you describe. He was talking about trying to preach to those who don't want to hear, which is how the Sumerians were. It means don't preach to people who clearly don't care.

The Sumerians existed long before Jesus, and basically created the foundation of the OT and much theology we have today.

The Samaritans... which is what I think you're refering to, were generally considered inferior by all Jews... though i cannot remember exactly why off hand.

It's Not the Sumerians, it's the Samaritans.
The Sumerians gave us Our First Civilization.

I don't know, but now I'm wondering how I go about becoming a Sumerian so I can avoid all the preaching.

"Sumerians" are not mentioned anywhere in Scripture, which makes the rest of your diatribe nothing but dribble.

They had a pretty hardcore established religion, and werent going to convert. They were also the preeminent civilisation of their time, so it wasn't smart to piss them off, as having 10,000 soldiers run through your fledgeling state often upsets folk....

According to literalists, god invented the earth @ 6000 years ago.

The Sumerians invented glue 7000 years ago.

Maybe he knows something we don't.
