first divide the inch measurement by 12 to get the length in feet and then multiply those 2 numbers together to get square feet.

a foot is 12 inches
so you divide the number of inches by 12.
for example 15 inches - 1 foot 3 inches
65 in is 5 feet 4 inches. (and a couple of centimeters.)

65 to the second power multiplied by 15 to the second power equals the area squared, then you square root it. im not sure its been so long since i did math but the answer should be right if you enter it in a calculator or else its 81.25ft
