okay please i really need to know

so i have two female gerbils and they are litter mates. at the pet store they have two more female gerbils.(litter mates as well). i REALLY want to introduce the two groups. PLEASE HELP. there has to be a way to do this.

Female gerbils do not get along in groups of more than 2. Because the female is the dominant sex in gerbils, in the wild there will only be one female in a group with lots of males. So 2 females can get along but more than that won't get along very well. Even if you had gotten all 4 at once and never split then, it would still be iffy.

Keep them in the 2 groups that you have now.

slowly introduce them in a neutral environment, it might work out, it might not

you may try, but they might eat one another. happened to me years ago.
