My best friend wanted to finish a beer one day while I left for work. I said it was cool and she said she would only be another 10 minutes. My boyfriend had just gotten home at that time also. I felt a little wierd about it, but went to work anyway. I called TWO hours later and she was still here. I found out later that night that she wantde more beer and they went to the store together to buy some. So, she stayed when she told me she was leaving. My boyfriend didn't even bother to try and get her out( saying he had to take a shower or go somewhere.) He suppose to go to a counseling session and instead stayed here with her. Am I right to feel angry with both of them?

You're just 'angry"????

I think you'd have reached a higher level of being pissed off than that.

Honestly, you should have closed the place down when you left to begin with, or asked the girl to leave with you. But things being as they are, I think a discussion with the BF is in order ... to clear the air and let him know how you are feeling. Don't get made unless you have a reason to get mad. On the facts as you present them here, there is no reason to get mad yet.

well, yes and no. you could get angry that your best friend is getting drunk with your boyfriend (never know). however, if she is a good friend and nothing happened then there's no reason to get upset about it. either way you should tell her how you feel and ask that next time she leaves when she says she is going to leave.

yes, this was sneaking behind your back. Your friend or your boyfriend should've called to let you know

if your boyfriend disagrees that you shouldn't be mad
put him in the situation
how would it make him feel if you hung out with one of his best friends for two hours with out telling him while he was drinking?

I would be angry with both of them, to me it would just seem inappropriate for them to be hanging out together drinking. You should confront them both and let them know that you were uncomfortable

Well, you gotta think here: If you really have to worry about that stuff with either of them should he REALLY be your boyfriend and should she REALLY be your best friend? Why don't you sit them both down and confront them about it. I don't know them so I can't tell you what to think but, if you really don't trust them, you should ask them both.

if you trust him then it shouldnt be a problem but the drinking normally leads to somthing else! so you have a right to be suspicious! but dont get to angry cause you dont know what went on!

Not if nothing happened. You should probably be concerned but talk to your best friend first before discussing it with your bf
