I have a great recipe for rhubarb crisp but today I want to make apple crisp. What will happen if I replace the rhubarb with apples? Will I need to change anything about the recipe ?

I would think with Rhubarb you would need some additional sugar. I don't think you would need as much with apple crisp.

For the two recipes below, it looks like about half as much brown sugar and 1/3 as much granulated sugar.

I would make sure there is cinnamon and sugar and some nutmeg - whether sprinkled on the apple or in the crisp but the basic crisp recipe should be the same for either one.
