I dont't think would be a great idea. But if you want to try it go ahead. Maybe you should try red highlighst instead of orange but that is just my opinion.

I think it would look awesome.
I think it would look more autumn-y than halloween-ish.
Halloweens already over, so people shouldn't really make the assumption that it's for halloween.

good Lord no. why don't you go to the salon and ask them for auburn highlights instead. don't go chunky but a few streak would look really pretty.
