Sorry for what? Satan when known by the body becomes the *Angel of Light*. Of course my answer will not be liked but how many people are truly free?

Depends entirely on which testament you're reading and how you interpret it. (Doesn't everything?)
The God of the Old Testament would let him burn for eternity, absolutely, positively, no question, end of story.
The New Testament, however, offers Ol' Scratch some wiggle room - at least the way I interpret it. =)
edit:
Holy (no pun intended) Cow! I started this about hour or so ago; waited on a bunch of customers; then came back and submitted it. A lot of interesting comments in the meantime.

It's a good and valid question. I do agree that he's too proud but then miracles happen!
God is a loving and forgiving God...but since I'm not God, I don't know how He would answer this.
What I do know is that the bible tells us there is only one sin that is not forgiven...blasphamy (speaking against the Holy Spirit.) In essence, rejecting God/Jesus Christ. God is willing to forgive us humans for our past mistakes, no matter what they are.
Hope that helps!

Satan fought against God-Physically. He didn't Just want to be like God. Many want to be like God, but will never try to beat God up and hurt him and take his Kingdom . Satan did and that isn't going to happen. Not now or Ever. You don't fight and try and kill the one you love or take over their Kingdom. I don't think God will forgive Satan, because Satan has already been banished to hell and is dead in sin. We on the other hand have a chance to live if we accept Christ who is God's son as our savior and not be dead in sin, but live again thorugh his sheed blood on the cross. Satan never accepted Christ as his King and attoned for his sins, so he is dead in sin and God don't forgive the dead in sin, but the living through his Son-Jesus Christ Of Nazareth.

Since God doesn't live in time like the rest of us, God has already thrown him into a lake of fire and his outcome is already determined. God said about Sodom and Gomorrah that if there was even a few righteous, he would not destroy it. I am sure a merciful God knew Satan wouldn't repent. You really have to know how evil demons really are to understand someone who will not repent.

No, because it will never happen. The Bible is clear that Satan gets banashed to Hell for all eternity after Jesus comes back at the end of the Tribulation period (see the book of Revelation in the Bible). He is so evil that he is incapable of change.

Lucifer could have repented...he had one chance... he did not... he lost his chance and his name.... satan now is eternaly lost....mankind has been given one last chance... each mortal is given untill their last concious mortal breath to come to God in The Way He prescribes... those who do not...will suffer the same fate as satan.
God only rejected Lucifer after lucifer gave up his chance... God will wait for each mortal untill the very last of each mortals time... and then those who reject God will be rejected by God.

No
He has been Judged already.
Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
