Can anyone tell me why someone left a note on my car while I was in Walmart that said, "If you love America so much and your such a patriot then why are you driving a 'jap' car you fuc*king idiot?" This really bothered me because I have US Army stickers and patriot magnets on the back of my car and a bumper sticker that says "My hero wears combat boots." My fiance is in the Army. I have a Toyota Solara 2007. My car was specially ordered and made in Lexington, Ky! Not Japan. I just wanted to know why this idiot, whomever it may have been left something on my car like that? Anyways, even if it was a Jap car, we are not at war with Japan, and what does the car that you drive have anything to do with your patriotism and your loyalty to this country anyway!? Just wanted some input from people! Arg! lol

some things in life you need to take with a grain of salt but i would be catious where you go

i am an army wife i love my husband dearly but i dont put thoes stickers or magnets on my car it just makes you a target for idiots that dont understand what it is to be a solider or a hero

i wear pins on my jackets and i am proud of my husband on the inside and i show it that way. i dont need stickers that cause people to harass me. everyone has there own opinions about people in the military, and thats ok they can have them because my husband fights for there freedom of opinion. i dont need to endanger myself or others because i believe diffrently than so many already do

it is up to you but i suggest showing your patriotism other ways since how you are geting nasty notes on your car for your own saftey people are crazy out there and i know you dont want it happening again id take the stickers off of your car but that is just me

too many people do not understand what true patriotism is. Patriotism is being not only proud of your country but also not embarasing your countary twards others and other countaries meaning having respect for not only others but yourself as well no matter what the diffrent opinion is or diffrent culture is alot of being in or apart of the military is respect towards the military, america, and other peoples countary and opinion that is what fighging for freedom is all about

Don't worry about that dope. You support the troops, and that is enough for me. I can give you a little history behind the sentiment, though. Basically, American automakers have been losing marketshare to foreign manufacturers for decades. The Toyotas may be made in America today, but the profits still go to foreign shareholders, and many of the parts are still made in foreign factories and then merely assembled here. I only buy American, because it is the American auto manufacturers who make tanks, troop carriers, and warplanes when we are faced with war. If these companies go away, so does our ability to make the machines that defend us. Just imagine if we had to go to war with Japan and Germany, if they were the only auto manufacturers left? "Would you please sell us some tanks so that we can fight you with them?" Uhhhh, no. See what I mean? It is important that we maintain a certain capacity to manufacture machines of war, that is why I will not buy a foreign car.

There is a very simple answer to bringing these jobs back to America and making America the undisputed world industrial leader again. Check out FairTax.org. No more hidden tax means that our companies would be unleashed to compete with the world. Income tax replaced by national sales tax means that we would be more aware of how the fed is wasting our hard earned money.

Walmart isn't exactly a magnet for Mensa Club members. I wouldn't worry about it; it was probably some bitter fanatic that collects pine cones from his neighbor's yards and eats paint chips. At least you're showing some kind of support... dumbasses running around a Walmart parking lot leaving derogatory comments on people's windshields doesn't do anyone any good.

My Chrylser was made in Mexico, and was during the time when Chrysler was owned by Germans... but I'm sure your mysterious dectractor probably isn't smart enough to know that.

Now you know why there are so many doctors specializing in proctology out there. This country is absolutely full of perfect a**holes!
I had a similar moron approach me at the car wash wanting to know where my flag was. I told him to look at my rear license plate holder which reads "Retired U.S. Navy". He apologized. I then told him the only time a flag is flown on a Cadillac is when it's entered in a parade.
You can take solace from the fact that many of the "Petey Patriot Platoon" were in hiding on September 10, 2001.

Person is a dumbass. Besides, how many cars are really made in America? Completely made in America?
I drive a Chevy and even it's not completely made here.

I drive whatever I want because I can, has nothing to do with who made my car. An American dealership is still getting my money (actually the bank is)

dont worry about. in the united states with 5 billion people, youre bound to meet some sh**s. well, the argument is why you favor imported cars over domestic. i know i know its made in the us, but anything can be made anywhere. designed by what company is what counts. and i guess that person just doesnt like jap cars. i personally am a fan of the american car. i am an american, therefore i drive my american car.

Sounds like some moron! I wouldnt worry too much about it... there are alot of people that believe the same way, but apparently they dont know sh*t about these things because Toyota's in America come from that factory in Lexington... just another example of people talking about things they dont know about...

People don't realize that all Toyota's are not made in Japan, and not all "American" cars are made in America. Don't worry about it dear, you keep supporting your fiance and the rest of our great military and don't let imbeciles like that bother you.

the police can't do much but take a report and then hand it over to the division that would help with harassment. for now just lock the doors and call the police if she feels unsafe.
