Hey, he's your boyfriend, and I assume the father of your baby. If you don't know yet what he means, how can you expect anyone else to. Maybe he plans to propose to you. Is that a possibility?

He's asking you to dress up. It's not a bad thing. It's hard to tell what's going on with little information. I wouldn't make a big deal of it unless you just can't afford to do it. If you can't afford to do it, is there any way you can dress up things you already have and make sure you do something special with your hair?

More importantly, why don't you ask him what he means by it? Communication is such an important part of things. I try to remind myself if I'm ever bothered or wondering about anything, I decide how important it is for me to know. If I decide it's important, I better just talk about it. If it's insignifcant or I can just let it go, I let it go.

You have to decide and talk to him if you're really bothered by it. You could be imagining all kinds of things that just aren't there.

Are you meeting famiyl members for the first time? If not then maybe he just wants to make sure his family looks good and he can show you guys off. Maybe he's trying to play to someone showing them that you all have new things to wear and you look hot so people can be jealous. Watch how he acts when your there and see if he is just trying to up someone.

He wants you all to make a good impression on his family. Hopefully he's paying for the new wardrobe.

There doesn't seem to be anything to 'make' of it. In fact, seems like a pretty reasonable request. So why are you being such a stiff about it?

I'm not sure. It sounds like it's a really special affair. Or maybe he has a special surprise planned.

Yeah, he just wants you to look nice for his family. I'd be the same. Maybe not so vague about it though.

Apparently he wants you and the kids to look extra special - who knows - he may be planning to ask you to marry him!
