Im a member of a few of internet dating agencies and I notice that every year around the winter season I seem to get more emails from the ladies than at any other time. This has been happening for the last couple of years and it got me wondering if women are more sexually aroused or seeking love around this time of year???
Maybe im looking into it too much but can somebody offer a logical explaination.

maybe they hibernate. !!! just kidding...they can any time..no one wants to be alone ... especially though the winter and the holidays.

im not so sure that they are sexually aroused more at this time of the year.
but maybe because there isnt the hot weather where they can get out and meet guys at the beach (if they live by one)...just as an example.
i wouldnt say because the women have more time on their hands, because i dont think that would change over the seasons.
im not really sure, to be quite honest.

No... since two warm bodies rubbing together generate twice the warmth. I live in Eastern Montana and it gets like 40 degrees BELOW zero for like forever in the winter here. Body warmth is the best kind.....

Lol, Im not sure but similarly I've been noticing more and more couples and more public displays of affection going on as I walk around the malls, streets etc. Maybe it is a winter thing - for both genders?

Possibly because most women, spend more time at home during the winter season and decide out of the blue to make or reactivate their personal ad; hence, become more active.

It's the holiday season. People become introspective and realize that another year has passed, and they have nobody to share the holidays with. So they put more of an effort into finding a partner.
Same reason why the suicide rates spike.

Well winter does have valentine, and Christmas which seems to make women want to date during the holidays

Girls get lonlier during the colder seasons, its no coincidence. They're more emotional, and emotions usually translates into sexual arousal, hence the horniness.
