A friend has a depression & a security clearence & is afraid it would be revoked if he took ant-depressants?

This individual is extremely level headed & extremely organized, really the backbone of the community. Probably the situation he's in is causing him lots of stress, there is a lot going on at home and he doesn't get enough help. He works for a Military Contractor. I said anti-depressants when your depressed is a medical problem.

Anti-depressants administered by a qualified doctor should not be any problem for your friend's security clearance. I would think that NOT getting help and taking measures to help with a mental illness of any kind would be more likely to get his security clearance revoked.
