Even 2 corinithians 11:14 says he can transform himself into an angel of light. So limited to a book, no not necessarily so.. Because God goes beyond a book, he is a spirit, a creator. And a snake can only hide his real self for but so long.. Because whats in the dark will ALWAYS come to the light. And he gives us wisdom to discern the two: both good and evil. Satan preys on everyone... Just pray for the ones who don't even know.

Satan preys on all weaknesses. Of any person, situation or time. The ol' devil was the Lords favorite angel, and was cast out of heaven. Of course some of the things he said and did are in the Bible.

Yes, Satan does quote Scripture, however, he always puts a twist in it.
And I am pretty sure the Scripture you are referring to is in Matthew 4 where Satan temps Jesus three times.
Jesus says in 4:4, "As it is written...." Go to God's Word once.
Satan says in 4:6, "For it is written..." Really he is saying, "Ok, if Jesus is going to speak Scripture then I am going to play His little game and throw Scripture at Him."
Jesus says in 4:7, "As it is written again..." So, you see Jesus isn't disagreeing with what Satan just told Him, He is simply using more Scripture. Go to God's Word again.
Satan again temps Jesus in 4:8-10
Jesus says in 4:10, "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.'" Away Satan, Go to God's Word again, and worship and serve.
So Satan does use Scripture, but he is lousy at it. That is why it is so important for Christians to hide God's Word in their hearts.
Temptation is not a sin. Temptation becomes sin when you actually do it.

True, true.
I am aware of this yes. In fact, Satan quotes scriptures much better than most Christians I know.
That's why we're also commanded to "study to show ourselves approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 1st Tim. 2:15

Of course he knows the scriptures, and he's been perverting them for centuries. The problem is, he's a liar, the truth is not in him, so his weapons are futile. Let me quote you what I perceive to be his favorite verse, Revelations 20:10, "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."
Respectfully

Satan does know scripture. After all he is a fallen angel. He doesn't care if you believe in God he just wants to keep you from Jesus. He is the one who can save you and the devil knows that.

Wasnt Satan once Gods favorite angel? If the devil knows the bible then it is because he once worked for god but because Satan had his own plans god vanquished him from his Kingdom.
as for you question,,,,well some are aware of it from my perspective and expirience and others dont seem to be aware of that fact
