How do people follow in jesus if they are always the first to judge people.. he said preach my words not force them on people he said accept one another for them not condemn em for having tattoos or smoking or not following me. I mean some of these hard core religious fanatics are all i love jesus i live by his word but when they run into someone who doesnt believe in jesus they hate him or try to save him and they condemn him.. now jesus never condemned judas for betraying him hell he evan forgave himm but hardcore religous fanatics dont.
I personally think its cause they follow the cult and not the word.
The cult is the church they twist things to be the way they want it. I mean everyone has access to the book with the words from the mouth of jesus but follow and act as the cult says. and that is not the way jesus wanted you to be.

Following Jesus is a religion.
Religion:
1. a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
2. a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects: the Christian religion; the Buddhist religion.
3. the body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices: a world council of religions.
Look at the same five words that come in every definition, SET OF BELIEFS AND PRACTICES.
If you were to "follow Jesus," you would also have to follow a set of beliefs and practices therefore following Jesus is a religion.

Not even the Crusades were wars in the name of God.
The discovery of the New world (for God, country, and Glory) was followed by the Europeans settling and the Natives attacking first and the Europeans won.

I can't understand what the crap you are talking about, something about religious wars not being jesus's fault in which case pretty much everyone agrees with you. Next question.

Don't be addictive to anything just follow these verses.
Matt 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Addicts use addiction to hide from truths they don't want to face. That isn't what Jesus wants us to do. He wants us to walk with him, see all truths, know there place, and our own place.

in much the same way you can follow the example of frodo without believing in hobbits...
