Similarities between all three:
--All follow the prophet Abraham
--All three follow what they believe is a divinely inspired book (Tanakh for Jews, Bible for Xians, Qur'an for Muslims)
--According to Xianity, they all believe in One G-d, but according to Jews and Muslims, the trinity is a polytheistic idea.
--All originated in the Middle East

Similarities between Jews and Muslims:
--the 5 pillars of Islam are all based off things in Judaism (I have details if you need them)
--have specific dietary laws, called kashrut (kosher) for Jews and halal for Muslims
--Both worship the same G-d, just under different names, Allah and HaShem
--both believe in standards of modesty in clothing, hijab for Muslims and tznius for Jews
--Both pray a certain number of times every day, Muslims 5 and Jews 3
--Both fast at certain times in the year (Muslims for a month during Ramadan and Jews on certain days like Yom Kippur and Tisha B'av)
--Both have separate calendars from the Gregorian calendar

Similarities between Xians and Jews
--Xians accept the Old Testament as part of their Bible
--Both called "People of the Book" by Muslims

Similarities between Muslims and Xians
--Both accept the Bible as valid (to some degree)
--both believe in JC as a holy man

Differences between Muslims and Xianity and Judaism
--Qur'an is not accepted as truth
--Muhammad is not held as a prophet

Differences between Muslims and Xians
--halal vs. nothing
--trinity is viewed as polytheistic
--Islam is more Eastern whereas Xianity is more Western

Differences between Xians and Jews
--Jews do not believe in JC as a prophet or a god or the messiah
--Jews believe that nobody can die for anyone else's sins
--Jews do not believe in proselytizing (witnessing)
--Jews believe that you do not have to be Jewish to get to heaven
--the Trinity is considered polytheism according to Judaism
--Judaism does not always take the Bible 100% literally

That's all I have, I think.

They all believe in a similar history of the religious figures of Adam, Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, etc. Indeed, Judaism and Christianity share very similar cannons (the Torah makes up a good portion of the Old Testament). Islam is very similar; however it offers a variation on the specific events on the other two religions' cannons. Christianity essentially claims that Jewish Prophecy has been fulfilled, while Islam essentially claims that Jews and Christians got God's message fundamentally wrong (but that the Quran provides the real deal).

They all have similar basic morals (as derived from the 10 commandments). Both Islam and Judaism believe in salvation through works, while Christianity is more about salvation through grace.

Think of religion like Sci-Fi movies and series. The ones in which Islam, Judaism, and Christianity are the Star Wars universe, but different followings on the story with different people it's focused on. One group believes Sidius to be a good guy uniting the universe at the sacrifice of his image and life. Another believes he was a straight up bad guy and had no real relevance beyond the plot point where he died. And the last group thinks the whole event was un-purposeful and the events taken after it were far more interesting. While different points of views, it's all the same religion.

So far, not a single person has got it right about Judaism. So allow me please to do so :)

As Jews we believe in one G-d and one G-d only. Jesus was Jewish; he was a Rabbi, or teacher, and one of many around at that time. He was crucified by the Romans. Jesus NEVER rejected Judaism and he did not 'start' Christianity. That came later.

For Christians, Jesus is the messiah and the son of G-d.
For Muslims, Jesus is a prophet.
For Jews, Jesus was just an ordinary, young Jewish man. And that's all. We do NOT view him as a prophet. He plays no role in Judaism whatsoever.

Christians believe in original sin. Jews do not.

Christians believe that an innocent man can be killed and take on the sins of others.
Jews do not believe this in the least.

Judaism was the first organised religion to state that there is only one G-d. Then some Jews developed Christianity over time; Paul for example. But he never met Jesus.

Islam also believes in one G-d, but they view Jesus as a prophet.

Hope that has helped a bit. The three faiths are world apart. One thing I would say to you:

If at any point you want answers about Judaism, PLEASE don't get them from Christians. They may mean well but on this website I see them constantly distorting what the Jewish faith involves and represents.

They all believe in One God, and have common roots in Scripture. They differ on the person of Jesus. Jesus was a Jew and a Rabbi. Christianity split from Judaism, believing Jesus to be the promised Messiah, God's Son and holding that God's unity was found in the Trinity, Islam holds Jesus to be a prophet, a human son given to the virgin Mary and precursor to Mohammed (born ca. 570 C.E.), the last and true prophet of Allah, the One and only God. All accept the Old Testament as Scripture and the covenant of Abraham and Moses, Pharisaic Judaism developed into modern Judaism after the destruction of the Temple in 70 C.E. with the Babylonian and Jerusalem Talmud, codified by Judah Ha-Nasi. Ebionic Christianity, closely aligned with Judaism (they joined with Rabbi Akiba in the Bar Kochba Rebellion), was largely suppressed by Conciliar Christianity after the Council of Nicea in 325. Judaism is guided by Rabbis, certified by their different schools ("Shmicha"), basically teachers of Torah and Talmud (They still reserve a place for hereditary priests "Cohen" and Levites "Levi" within the congregation against the day when the Temple is restored.). Christianity developed an ordained hierarchy of Bishops and Priests, successors to the Apostles up until the division in the Reformation, when some broke away with different ideas of ordination and ministry. Islam has no ordained ministry, but trains mullahs in the Qu'ran and Hadith (sayings and traditions of the Prophet), ayatollahs being those further trained who are authors of books, some sects following descendants of Mohamed and his family. Jews observe Saturday as the Sabbath, beginning at sundown on Friday. Moslems observe Friday. Most Christians transfer the Sabbath to Sunday in honour of the Resurrection. Jews keep the Passover, http://www.jewfaq.org/holidaya.htm reckoned by their lunar calendar in the Spring. Christians reckon Easter http://www.twingroves.district96.k12.il.us/Easter/Easter.html much the same way, with slight variation, since Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection took place at Passover. Moslems observe a month of fasting called Ramadan,http://www.submission.org/ramadan.html reckoned by their lunar calendar in the fall, relatively close to the Jewish High Holy Days http://www.holidays.net/highholydays/ that mark the beginning of the lunar year. In addition Christians observe Christmas, http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/03724b.htm reckoned on the solar calendar, at about the time of the winter solstice, December 25 as a Feast of the Incarnation of Christ.

Judaism came first, and the pharacies took it away from the origional teachings and added laws and rules of their own.
Alone came the prophet Jesus and told the jews to get back in line, and return to the origional laws of god.
Some did and they became the jewish cult of christians, later taken over by the Romans as their version. They relaxed the laws and started introducing their own dogma.
Alone came a prophet Mohammid and told the remaining jew and the christians that they were all out of line with gods laws. Birth of Islam.
Now the muslims have drifted away from the origional laws of god so it must be time for a new prophet and a new religion...!!

There is one very strong similarity between jews, christians and muslims, we all belong to the religion of revealed books. I did not write that ALLAH is also a common factor between us all as HE is common to all humna beings and animals and this entire universe. This question does not talk about hindus but even they have been created by that ONE CREATOR (that they don't agree is a different issue)
ALLAH says in QURAAN:' ch2v62
"62. Those who believe (in the Qur'an)¸ and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures)¸ and the Christians and the Sabians¸- any who believe in God and the Last Day¸ and work righteousness¸ shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear¸ nor shall they grieve."

There are worlds of differences that would take far too long to address in this format. Simplify the question if you want meaningful interactions in a format like this.

As the to the similarities. [overly simplified]

All trace back through Abraham to their origins. Islam separates soon after and Christianity separates from Judaism with Jesus Christ.

Hope that helps.

Those of The True Christian Faith are bound by The Word and Will of God, who is The Creator. There place in Heaven is secure..... Those of The Nation of Israel(the Jews) are God's chosen people. God has a future purpose for them... .......... those who follow islam have no legitimate claim to any connection what-so-ever to The One True God, The Creator, The God of Abraham.......except that their bodies are made up of the same elements of God's creation that all are made of.... beyond that...unless those deceived by islam come to learn The Truth....they have no place in Heaven... they will be eternally separated from God

The purpose of existance of any religion is lost. They have befooled mankind in providing an answer to eternal question "what was life before birth and what would it be after death". God is another myth. There is no God. monotheism, unitheism or poly theism is the matter of academic discourses only. Do not waste your time.
