Okay so in my question of 'who holds the burden of proof' you answered :

If you have ever been in a thunder storm, Or have seen the grand Canyon,The rainbow in the sky, the ocean,a beautiful sunset,a fresh crisp snow, the birth of a child, these are all evidence of GOD.

That really didn't answer the question but anyways....

Okay so these things are evidence of God. Okay.... does that in turn mean that bad things are evidence of there not being a God? (If a cute baby or beautiful sunset brought to you courtsey of air pollution is your big basis of proof then....whoa)

Too often people say : "Look at that rainbow/baby/flower/sunset and that's how you know there's a God."
Well in that same respect couldn't one say "Look at that murder/rape/child molester/AIDS and that's how you know there isn't a God." ?

You're going to get a few answers like the first one. You'd have been better off comparing bad things in nature, like earthquakes, tornadoes and slugs to the good things in nature. Otherwise, the believers will simply blame people for not being good enough, rather than god for making bad things.

The good the bad of nature, in a way this question relates to morals doesn't it?
Let us apply the same thinking for the dropping of the the bomb on Hiroshima. Was it moral of us to do so? How many deaths did we cause? How many did we prevent? Is there no moral reason to engage in warfare? What if Muslims decide to wage a real war? Invade the US and force you to bow down and worship Allah or be killed? How can we emotionally allow ourselves to condemn Moses and his god when we can find excuses for your own country? Or perhaps we can’t find excuses for this country. The question isn’t about who is morally right; the question is about who has the authority to declare what is morally right. Man’s opinion isn’t worth squat except to the man who is having it.

good point. but their whole "system" is set up to provide very simple answers to your rebuttal. they will say murder/rape/child molesters are evidence of Satin.

that simple.

Evidence is never enough for them, NEVER enough. I dont know why a theist would even come near the topic "Evidence of God"

he would get burnt in a debate.

What it comes down to is "facts". and the fact that the bible says the world is 6,500 years old (give or a take about 300 years) compared to SCIENCE which says the earth is about 65 BILLION years old.. that says something to me.

At a certain college there was a professor with a reputation for being tough on Christians. At the first class, every semester, he asked if anyone was a Christian and proceeded to degrade them and to mock their statement of faith. One semester, he asked the question and a young man raised his hand.

The professor asked, "Did God make everything young man?"
He replied "Yes sir he did!" The professor responded,! "IF God made everything, then he made evil"

The student didn't have a response and the professor was happy to once again prove the Christian faith to be a myth.

Then another man raised his hand and asked, "May I ask you something, sir?""Yes, you may," responded the professor.

The young man stood up and said, "Sir, is there such a thing as cold?" Of course there is, what kind of a question is that? Haven't you ever been cold?"

The young man replied, "Actually, sir, cold doesn't exist. What we consider to be cold, is really an absence of heat. Absolute zero is when there is absolutely no heat, but cold does not really exist. We have only created that term to describe how we feel when heat is not there."

The young man continued, Sir, is there such a thing as dark?" Once again the professor responded, "Of course there is."And once again, the student replied, "Actually, sir, darkness does not exist. Darkness is really only the absence of light. Darkness is only a term developed to describe what happens when there is no light present."

Finally, the young man asked, "Sir, is there such a thing as evil?"The professor responded, "Of course, we have rapes, murders and violence everywhere in the world, Those things are evil."

The student replied, "Actually, sir, evil does not exist. Evil is simply the absence of God. Evil is a term developed to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. It isn't like truth, or love which exist as virtues like heat or light. Evil is simply the state where God is not present, like cold without heat, or darkness without light."

The professor had nothing to say................

Be full of Christ today, there is no room for anything else . .
Peace & God bless from Texas. <><

I'll answer if you don't mind:

Sin is what causes bad things to be.
God created things perfect..........man messed it up with sin.

Every one of us is in desperate need of the Savior, Jesus Christ for salvation. Without Him.....we are doomed.

Saying natural events are evidence of God is a good sign their education level is pretty low.
