An accordion is a musical instrument of the handheld bellows-driven free reed aerophone family. I had to look that one up!

It's considered wind not percussion !!!! It's sometimes referred to as a squeezebox !!!!!! An instrument driven by Bellows.

It's in a specific class of woodwinds because it uses reeds to make the tones.
