We live in a very indulgent, matrerialistic age. The spiritual side of life seems to be devalued, due to our over emphasis on science and technology. I could see a age in the future where, the part of reality that is spiritual, returns to predominance. That we will realyze, that we all have individual spirits, connected together to a degree by a universal spirit, that holds some power over our universe. In the future, we may see a lot more of the spiritual in our dreams, when we sleep. Science and trechnology can get us in serious trouble, if we are not properly tuned in spiritually, and this may happen, before the spiritual comback. Crisis tend to bring back the spiritual, when we must dig deep into ourselves

No. Not all people who believe in God are religious maniacs. The maniacs are the ones that can get overly zealous and militant with their beliefs.

No, a religious maniac is someone who lives every second of the day devoting themselves to their religion, often obsessing over only certain parts of it, and trying to get others to see things their way.

A religious maniac is more like a taliban weirdo or any other who try to force others into his set of beliefs.

Some atheists do, yes. They think that anyone who believes in God is a religious maniac. Some atheists are quite pompous and arrogant that way.

No, it's someone who believe he is the only one who believes in God the proper way and is willing to war over it.

No, I define the faithful as either "normal" (as in nice, everyday people who happen to believe in a deity), fanatical (they love to hate, preach, and are just plain whack jobs), and the insane (self-explaining there).

No, not at all. I believe in God, but I do not believe in religion, so therefore that would not describe me at all.

There are some people out there who think if you have ANY faith in a higher power, you're nuts!
Not all atheists are that narrow-minded, but some certainly are.

Nope.

You can believe in god and be reasonable.
