Um... I've never heard all that jazz... sounds more "conspiracy-theory..y..." (LOL) to me.
The story of jesus was actually more of a collaboration of numerous stories from other cultures. Look up the stories of the egyptian god, Osiris, or the greek god, Dionysus.
As for the idea of "killing" the idea of jesus... I'm fairly certain the number of athiests and open-agnostics has been gradually rising... and as science continues to answer more and more questions about our existence, I'm confident that those numbers will continue to rise.

What would a "big time atheist"be? Never heard of those.
And since when are atheists opposing Christianity except perhaps the demands of Christians for preferential treatment from the government?
Christians can believe what they want all day and night and if they're not pushing it on someone else no one even knows they're Christians.
Trust me if everything you wrote were proved 100% accurate it would not matter. If facts would stop Christianity it would have never gotten started. Christianity is like water. It will take on the shape of whatever vessel you put it in.
It has repackaged itself countless times and absorbed every idea it has found too hard to fight against. Even now it's slowly absorbing its old foe evolution.
I promise you in 40-50 years if you ask a Christian about evolution they're going to say "praise god for giving us evolution just as the bible says".

What the hell are you talking about?
I assume this must be a "joke" of some variety. It's interesting, though, that there are records of several "Jesuses" who lived around the time of the legendary "Jesus" of the Gospels, some of whom were seditious upstart prophet types who caused trouble with the Romans and were executed. Any of these might have served as the model for certain aspects of the composite character of Jesus as he appears in the Gospels.
As for whether atheism is on the decline or the incline, it makes no difference to the historical truth.

I've just read "Out of Egypt" by Ahmed Osman who claims Moses was Akhenaten and Jesus was Tutenkhamen. Now you claim he was the son of Antony and Cleopatra. Try reading "The Jesus Family Tomb" if you want yet another version of the myth.

From a non secular point of view, Christianity is failed sect of Judaism that began to take a cohesive style greater advantageous than 3 hundred years after the death of its meant prophet/messiah. almost, if no longer actually, each and every of the training attributed to stated prophet that quite are interior the lineage of Judaic teachings of that era are from the rabbi Hillel and are stumbled on interior the Talmud. No Jew of that or the different era could proclaim himself through fact the literal "son of YHWH" or as an equivalent to YHWH, or significant different, etc. Such exchange right into a fabrication via the later authors of the canonized gospels and alter right into a mix of the mythos of alternative faiths that had existed beforehand of the time of Constantine. the unique "Christians" considered themselves as Jews and did no longer curiously regard Yeshua ben Yusuf as "divine" in any way. as quickly as Christianity grew to alter into the Holy Roman Catholic church, with the could of the Roman Legions in the back of it and the tension of the Roman government, it failed thoroughly and lost any meaning, which the history of the Christian conquest of Europa and the later colonization of the recent international, besides through fact the Crusades and the Inquisition of course show. With the Protestant Reformation interior the 1400s, and the develop of the literalist interpretations of scripture wherein many greater have been damned and condemned to eteranl punishment then have been ever provided salvation and the increasing sectarian divisions and strife among the "honest", element grew to alter into an increasing sort of worse and function long previous down hill because that factor. throughout the time of the international, Christianity has exchange right into a commercial employer merchandising psuedo-spirituality. the present adherents of stated faith, their self righteousness and ego centric ideals tension greater away then they call to the religion. Christianity, with all of its doubtful can provide, questionable ideals and practices and its horrid history, is, like Judaism till now it and Islam after it, only yet another between the numerous failed religions. namaste

Yeah, i can't see how you can be a "wannabe" atheist, you either are or you aren't. There's agnostic but they have different ideas.
Jesus is a big religious character, religion is about belief, you can't force it upon anyone (I'm talking to you Jahova's Witnesses, coming round at dinner time, preaching the word of god while my steak goes cold.) i've decided not to worry about it, though i do find peoples beliefs fascinating. You either believe in Jesus or not.

It's true. Just break into the Vatican vaults, and you'll find it. They've been hiding the truth for centuries. I've beamed in there and seen it myself. The documents have been specially treated so I can't beam them out, or else I'd prove it to you myself.

It just proves that people who deny the fact of evolution are delusional, and you can't reason with a delusional person.
