I don't think Christians should be jubilant about people going to hell. To me it's no laughing matter. I am not a Fundie per say but I do believe God's word is real.

Why would any person be jubilant about someone burning in hell? You cannot force people to believe in something when they do not, so then it is between them and God.
I really think you are mistaken, when it comes to people getting joy about someone going to hell.
The person that gets happiness from what you said will probably get to join the ones in hell would be my thoughts.
Yours truly, Bible Fuddie

Being a Christian myself, I find it sad to see this too. People who seem happy or contrite that others are suffering eternally is NOT an accurate representation of Christianity. Jesus, when He saw the lost crowds, was moved with compassion for them because He knew of their final home. This is the way I view those without Christ: they are without hope and without God, and it breaks my heart.
Try not to keep your comments too general. On these Answers forums, there are a lot of nutcases. You can't get a good representation of a Christian on here. I personally know dozens, perhaps hundreds of Christians and can't think of one that view hell as being satisfying in any way. The people you're talking about need a serious dose of reality: if not for Christ, hell would be their eternal home as well. Christians, you did nothing to deserve heaven. Don't you dare ever forget that.

yeah, I just answered a question concerning IF Mother Teresa is in hell. and so many fundies who answered seemed so jubilant with their words like, "yes, she's burning in the lake of fire. God saw through her wicked heart" and so many nonsense. you know, Mother Teresa is a good example of how God loves people, but these fundies picture God as unjust and egotistic.

If they do they are sinning a big sin. Nobody should take delight in someone suffering like that because just the thought of someone going through torment is awful. And the thought that it will be forever is even worse. I am glad that in near future, events in the middle east will get so frightful that even these people who laugh at them now will reconsider their views and just consider all that has been written in the scriptures.

I pretty much consider myself a fundie. I am not pleased at the thought of anyone in Hell. I wish all would go to Heaven. The way is there and it is free for all you just have to accept it.

Well... I can't answer your question exactly. However, I am a Christian. I believe what the Bible says with all of my heart. Having said that, I have NEVER tried to tell anyone where their loved ones ended up after they died...
I had a friend commit suicide and everyone (people in and outside the church) tried to tell me that he was in hell.
That is for God to decide. I am NOT God... therefore, I can't tell you that someone is "burning in hell."

Isn't it strange I have never heard of anyone being jubilant about such a thing. But then I'm an Atheist. Are you sure you didn't just make that up?

It grieves God and myself, when I think of someone in hell. I cant bear the thought of anyone in hell. That's why I try to tell others about Jesus on here, so they can go to heaven instead.
