I can't understand why you would even think such a thing.
Edit, exactly he's very compassionate and a great speaker, I truly enjoy listening to his messages also. :-)

I find him to be a very "loving personality" who tries to protray the best role models to give to his congregation. His writings are profound. This is all that I can base my impressions upon. Christians don't hate....dontcha know they love everyone.......
Athiests, "illegal" immigrants, Hillary Clinton, Blacks, Asians, people who don't speak English, people who have their own belief system....
Why the christian world is just full of love.
Personally, I think Osteen is just another charismatic jerk out to get as much money from the suckers as he can....and he gets it, fer sure. He must support his extravagant lifestyle somehow - and he does it by taking advantage of the weakest among us.

Mostly we think he's smarmy, but then he does have a huge following.

I can't say that I hate him, but I'm certainly not keen on him at all. I'm not into big-name preachers. He just looks TOO perfect and squeaky clean. To those who are touched by his ministry, I'm happy for you, and I mean that sincerely. But, I can say I'm not one of his followers.
