Those on thrones will be according to the plan of God.

Zero "popes" on thrones. There is no "pope" in the Bible, and catholicism teaches a false gospel of works that leads to eternal hell (Galatians 1).

Hello,

Hello, I took Revelation Bible study from my minister friend at the Church of Christ Disciples. They taught the elders on the throne were the 12 leaders of the tribes of Israel also seen in Daniel and the 12 Apostles of Christ.

Cheers,

Michael Kelly

These “four and twenty elders” represent the righteous prophets called to serve the people of the earth during the first 6000 years. The seventh thousand years are reserved for the final prophet, Christ. These are called by God through the ministrations of exalted beings sent from other planets to this earth, to offer the calling to certain individuals, who are then sent to the different nations of the earth. This number is figurative, and has nothing to do with the actual number of prophets who have been sent with the proper authority of God.

12 Apostles and One Pope (Peter).

Most Bible scholars believe the twenty-four elders represent the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve apostles.

These 24 are also referenced in Revelation 21:12-14:

It had a massive, high wall, with twelve gates where twelve angels were stationed and on which names were inscribed, (the names) of the twelve tribes of the Israelites. There were three gates facing east, three north, three south, and three west. The wall of the city had twelve courses of stones as its foundation, on which were inscribed the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

With love in Christ.

Popes are a part of the Foundations of the Apostles(Peter obviously was an Apostle of Jesus Christ).
Eph 2:20, Eph 4:11 Jn 21:17

Now where is that Bible "Alone" Biblical reference located?

Exactly. Bible "Alone" is part of the foundations of men.

Sorry. No prophets or Popes. At least prophets in terms of those before Jesus. That heavenly opportunity was not available until after the last Passover Jesus celebrated was over. He started a new covenant for his people to be in a specific group to be in heaven as kings and priests over the earth.

This will be people qualifying to be his people with humility as one quality which opts out most Popes.

12 tribes of israel and the 12 apostles.

i fail to see why you included an amount of popes, why not how many protestant ministers/pastors? you seem set to oppose the catholic church for what reason? may i add the catholic church is closer to christ and the apostles than any other church.
