I don't take it seriously anymore, but i'm getting fed up with it. She keeps breaking up with me 'cause i won't go with her to any of her family things. She doesn't seem to care i don't care for her family, and that i have nothing to do there. She insists she wants me to share in HER life, but why can't she see it's HER life, not mine? She isn't even giving importance to the fact that for anything else i will be with her, just not when her family or friends are involved.
What should i do?

She claims that she 'just wants to be with me'. I mean, if she wanted so badly to be with me, she could not go and stay with me, right?

Well, if she keeps breaking up with you she obviously is just doing it as a threat and that's pretty pointless, because it shows she's not even really taking it serious. But when you say that you don't want to be involved in what's important in her life because it's HER life...that's showing that you don't take the relationship serious either.

I think ur being a a ss. Why dont u wanna get to know her family and friends if u r in a serious relationship? That is kind of part of it especially if ur planning on having a future with this girl! If ur not planning a future with her then do her a favor and break up with her so she can quit wasting her time with u.

I understand your gf. Her family is probably pretty important to her and wants you and them to get along. If you loved her you would put the effort into getting along with them. It's so very nice when a couple compliments eachother. And thats what good couples do, compliment one another. Do you feel she compliments you? Do you feel you compliment her. Work together on this and both families (yours and hers) will love you guys and family gatherings will be more enjoyable. If you dont care about the relationship, move on!

it sounds like he's making up excuses to break up with you. maybe there's something she thinks you're doing wrong and just uses that family and friends excuse, and then comes back to see if you've changed that behavior since she's been gone. ask her what's really bothering her, and MAKE SURE you let her know that you're not taking her crap anymore, and that she needs to be mature about the relationship. ....if that's how you feel. sounds like it. good luck :)

Dump her for good. You obviously don't care enough about her to pretend to get along with her family, and you're certainly not interested in her life. Why be with her?
