nothing for them next year. hopefully in 2009. so far the Truck series, and the Nationwide series (formally known as Busch series) have it on their schedule for next year.

The only way Kentucky Speedway will get a NASCAR race is to remove one somewhere else. Which means fans at tracks like Martinsville, New Hampshire and Darlington may have an event taken away. Darlington only has one race left since they gave one to California. I was glad to see Texas and Phoenix get a second race a few years ago. And it may have something to do with track ownership or management. If Kentucky gets a race, Nashville Superspeedway should as well. That's just the way I see it.

No. The only way kentucky will get a race is if the france family (isc) buys the track. They have a monopoly on nascar. bruton smith is the only other owner of more than 1 track . its a shame other owners can not get a date, but the frances rule. hopefully someday that will change but doubtful

I hope so, but not before Nashville :D

What they need to do is replace one of the New Hampshire or Pocono races with it. The beginning-of-the-season off week needs to go as well.

Don't see why not. They could certainly replace one of the tracks that get 2 races.

Attendance at Kentucky is roughly 69,000 so I don't know if that would be enough allure for the big show...
