I have a couple of body piercings that are concealed when I am wearing clothing (bra, shirt). I cannot easily remove the body jewelry without the proper tool, which I do not have and do not have access to. Will this prevent me from boarding my domestic flight? I am leaving early Wednesday morning, and need to know ASAP...

You will be able to board absolutely fine. If the metal detector picks up such a small amount of metal then the hand swipe metal detector will be used and you can explain to the security staff what is setting off the machine. I would be very surprised if something as small as a piercing was detected though.

Yes you can. I flew all the time with a tongue ring, earrings, and belly ring in and never had a problem. Most of them are made of sterling silver, so they dont set off detectors. They wouldnt make you take them out anyway. If you would set it off, tell the screening person that you have nipples rings that you cannot take out, and they can wave the wand over you. But you should not have to go through that, they probably won't even trip the detector.

Actually you can depending on the type of razor, if it is a covered blade then it is fine (you know the ones with the wire type thing across to stop from cutting the skin). I'm not sure what the fusion power is like but if you wanna avoid checking baggage then get the type i have just explained. If in doubt buy from Boots after security as the only retail those types i think.

Your jewelry will BEEP and set of the alarm.
You will then be in an embarassing situation when a female inspector has to verify what is setting off the detector. It will cause you delays.

Be smart, just take the jewelry off unitl you arrive at your destination.

You should have no problems. Your jewelry should not set off the metal detectors when walking through them. If you get the wand and it goes off explain to the security guard what they are.

As long as there are no metals, or weapon shaped items, you know what I mean, the Pierced dagger from the belly button would get you stopped in your tracks...Good Luck Medium Darcy Dee

depending on the quality of metals used to make your jewelry, it shouldnt be a problem. i have flown several times and i have a couple of zero gauge rings, they didnt even set off the metal detector. and it isnt illegal anyway.
