I just moved into a house with barely any closet space for my clothes. Just one tiny tiny closet that's about 3 feet wide w/two rods... i thought i could come up with something, but now i'm panicking! I have an armoir, but that is full. Does anyone have any ideas for a makeshift closet with rods/shelving?

I use under bed storage boxes. I pack up seasonal items (like right now I won't be using my jean shorts for a few months, so need to keep them out. Also, they are good for storing sweaters too. Pick up a dresser for additional drawer space and just hang dresses, skirts and pants in the closet. Fold as much as you can and put it in your dresser. Also, use any space above the rack. If you don't have a shelf up there, put one in.

You could install 2 rods in an outcove, one for the clothes and another for a large curtain to cover them up or go for a large folding screen and a moveable clothes rack.

Well there are two things you could try.

My mom has this fold out rack that she uses to hang clothes on once they come right out of the dryer. You could get something like that.

If you want something really quick. U-Haul or most any mover place has boxes that are made to store and hang clothes in

I use one of those hanging sweater shelves. It's great for t-shirts, sweats and even pants and it will hold a lot of stuff. I also just think they make your closet look so much more organized. Here is one you can checkout at Wal-Mart.

If you own the house, have some built. If you are renting, then go shopping for storage. There is a lot of it on the market.
