am I required to come back to Canada before I can return to the UK or can I go to another country..such as Europe and then return to the UK? Do I have to be out of the country for any specific time before I can re-enter?

Like "most" countries - where you leave and return from is irrelevant. (But, there are some that it does matter.) So, yes, you can go to Europe and return.

No length of time required either; you could leave for a day and come back.

It depends if you're travelling or working. If you're just travelling around, you can bop in and out of countries at will. Most will allow you to stay for six months. Then you can go to another country and come back in. The advantage of a Canadian passport is that we're welcome in a lot of places. What countries will expect is that you have enough money to support yourself during your stay and that you have either enough funds or a valid ticket to get home.

hallo,
pay attention to the fact, that
Citizens of Canada do not need a visa to United Kingdom for a stay up to 90 days.
i think you can re-enter UK. no waiting period is required.
