From what I've seen, Catholics seem to respond much better to criticism than evangelical fundamentals do. I also don't generally see them actively going out and picking on every other faith or non-faith and condemning them to hell... surely, that's worth a tiny amount of respect, I should think.

The nature of the response depends upon the individual receiving the criticism.

Some will get down-right indignant. Others will have a measured response. Still, others will choose not to respond at all, thinking that any response at all with inadvertently dignify the anti-Catholic claim.

Thank you for your comment Brendon, it is much appreciated. If I come across people who are critical of the Catholic faith I just pray for them. I respect everyone and their right to their own opinion, it is not my place to put them down for it. God bless you

Same as people of all faiths. Some just shrug it off, and others are defensive.

I usually ask God to bless them and help them to understand so they are not so ignorant and judgemental of other religions and denominations.

we respond well with constructive criticism, not destructive and biased criticism.
