Jesus was not the only son of God for there is no such being in the whole of galactic space.Jesus is one of the Masters of Wisdom who will come forward after his own spiritual teacher who's name is the Lord Maitreya.Maitreya is as well the elder brother of all humanity and will have a contribution to offer to the human race as a whole.A whole new world is on the horizon wherein the love aspect of God will manifest itself in all human hearts thus uplifting the worlds vibration of the planet itself.

All who the Father has given Him. He will not cast any out who come to Him but only those who the Father draws will actually come.
John 6:44
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:65
And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”
Why? For the praise of the glory of His grace
Eph 5:5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

God (Jesus) will save ANY PERSON who accepts him, and believes on his name(JESUS).
Anyone who accepts his gift of salvation, will be saved.
Even if they accept it during a crisis, or right before they die, God knows our hearts(scary thought :), so if we really accept him, he will know, even if we only have 6 seconds left on this earth.

This is who:
John 6
44 "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets: 'They will all be taught by God.' Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.
and there is also the 'why':
Romans 9
15 For he says to Moses,
"I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." 16 It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: "I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth." 18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.
He chooses, that's why we are called "Chosen" by God.
