Does the support that goes to Israel from the USA affect those paying taxes?

Here is a question posted on the politics from a user who says that he doesn't want his tax money taken to support Israel.

No more than the money going to Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Palestinian Authority, etc. Its easy to pick a place you don't want your taxes to go to. The idea is to either chnage the current members of the government minds or to change the members to those who agree.

I'd like to see my money no longer being poured into that ill governed pit called DC.

Israel receive more than 20 billions $ each year from American taxpayers without their consent: 3.7B$ from the Congress Foreign Aid Program, 10B$ Free Loans Guarantee, and 6 to 10 B$ from USA Tax System Loophole as Charity money deducted from American JEWS Tax's to be sent to Israeli Settlements. And yet Israel spy on the USA sham on Israel.

I know of lots of Americans that don't want their tax money taken out. No matter which government they vote for it will still happen. The game of Democracy!
paperbook, its been said many times about Iraq, but as you know the pay off is pretty big that the gov gets back, and Saudi they are making money. Does America make money from Israel? Yes. Congress passes bills which fund support for Israel. When the US government supports another nation, funds come from its citizens through taxes. How taxes are spent depends on how the legislative and executive branches allocate tax revenue.

Yes, of course it affects Americans paying taxes. In terms of spending, Israel is the largest recipient of US aid. The US gives Israel approximately 3 billion dollars a year - 60% on military, 40% on economic aid and this does not include loan guarantees. Even though far richer than sub-Saharan Africa, Israel and Egypt together receive about $4.5 billion a year, more than ALL African countries combined!

Very few Americans know that every cent of their income tax money is spent on the interest of the national debt.
Not one Penny is used to pay anyone or give anyone.
America should be paying a dividend on the money it makes.
Other taxes, like the Sin Taxes, another story.

I am sure that G-d would prefer that the money be used to buy bibles and build hospitals and agriculture. But 1 Cor 13 says that love protects and He might be operating under those procedures,given the hostility of israel's neighbor's. As far as I am concerned I believe America is blessed for helping Israel. If the weapons are not needed they can be destroyed or converted to another use like refrigerators or can openers. Mexicans send 20 billion untaxed dollars to Mexico each year intended for family assistance. But how much ends up buying drugs and guns nobody knows. And the trade deficit with China is astronomical. But I haven't seen to many chinese bibles.

Strange that nobody ever mentions the billions that America gives to Iraq and has given to Germany, and has paid Saudi Arabia in arms deals. I've never seen any of these mentioned on this site, not even once.

It has never bothered me, my taxes pay for so many things and I had never even noticed it.

It is very indirect.

People make the mistake in thinking that the US gives Israel money. That is not the case, what they give them is credit to buy US made military supplies. So basically all the money stays inside the United States while the goods are given over to Israel.
