Today is a stressful day for me at work, aghhh! What do you do when your stressed out? What keeps you from coming back to work after lunch and not skipping out for the rest of the day?

when i get stressed out i read my bible to help me get through the bad days that i have,especially when i get streesed out that always makes me feel better about my day.

Are you stressed like this all the time at your work? Do you like your job? Maybe you should think about getting a different job to were u are not so stressed out. Or plan a vacation so at least you have an incentive. Or just take a mental day from work. Not much you can do besides that. Look on the bright side the more work you have the faster the day goes by

Take a walk. Get up from your desk, walk out of the dept, maybe walk outside and get some fresh air.
This is a short term fix, it works for a couple hours.
. If it happens once in a while, don't worry. It happens to all of us.
If you feel this way every day, then, maybe it's time to brush up the resume. No sense in being "aargh!" every day at work, is there?

buy a stress ball.... a small ball that you squeeze which relieves stress.
The thing that keeps you from not returning to work after lunch is the "M" word.

I surf the Internet. Take deep breaths and try to distract myself. Go on some bathroom breaks, walk outside and then come back to your desk.

Breathe deeply and think of something you can reward yourself too after work. Keep that goal in mind :)

Work does suck but you've gotta find a way to make it through.

I usually just look forward to something that I can do at either the end of the day or the end of the week and just keep telling myself that it's almost over and you're almost to that point...hope you feel better.

put on ur headset & listen to ur favorite music and relax for a while... some music that soothes you totally... if u r a chocolate lover, melt a chocolate in mouth, while listening... closing ur eyes & enjoying the moment wud really help unless u dont doze off.... if that doesnt work try calling up a kid, talk to a child, u know, that can work sometmes... it has worked for me.. i once called up my 3 yr old nephew & listened to his tales... it sure did make some diffrence to me

"Oh, you know, I am also so just stressed out that I just don't know what to do. Maybe, I'll just go eat an entire chocolate cake or maybe a pie and some M&m's.
