...what would you guys think of one that has a picture of Christ on the cross, but instead of the sign above his head reading "INRI", it says "PWND"?

Oh, sorry -- for those not fluent in "Leet-Speak", "PWND" means "completely owned" or "utterly defeated"...something to that effect.

I used to sell shirts through my Jesus Themed myspace a couple years ago.

These were my favorite 2:

Sold in the right context I could even imagine Christians wearing them.

If Jesus is defeated, it's because of his cheering section. Even if Jesus is a fictional character, even if he was just a mortal man and a little bit off his hinges to go up against the Powers that Were, the message attrributed to him in the bible is a great one. That has been overshadowed by so much bullsh*t that goes along with the Bible, which fundies have had to accept as "God's word," that the fundies have become Jesus' own worst enemy.

I'm a Christian and I detest bumper sticker evangelism. I won't touch your car, but I'll just consider you a arrogant loudmouth, intent on letting everyone know how he views a matter.

In risk of appearing completely stupid and uneducated: what does "PWND" stand for? Please remember that I am not English and that I come from a part of this world where 76% of people are atheists ... Don't be too harsh, please?

It must be too early in the morning for me: what do those initials mean?

Okay, I looked it up, but that's just dumb (and I'm an atheist).

I disapprove.

The idea is hilarious, but it's too easy to take it the wrong way. Christians will think we're mocking the fact that he was crucified rather than mocking their religion as a whole.

That's as good as the little fish that has horns and says SATAN in the middle!! (I've seen that one - it cracked me up) (hee-hee-hee)

Oh, snap.

Fortunately I live in a "blue state" so I could wear that out in public without being murdered by a good Lamb of God for having a different opinion.

I wouldn't recommend it in red states. I'm pretty sure you'd be dragged behind a Ford pickup for it.

That would be awesome. But I don't think it would last very long. And if it did, it would be because people didn't get it.

Maria, it's not a big deal. It means Powned. It's slang, it means that he got his *ss beat. it's gamer talk.
