Concerning morality, I don't see any conflict between common sense and scripture. Maybe you could give an example?

Common sense gives someone the free will to choose to follow God or not. The only conflict is the very one you choose to believe in yourself. If we weren't able to make our own choices we would just be like Gods puppets forced to do things his way. But, we have scriptures for guidance and common sense to know better when we are in the wrong!
