I personally don't care if atheists or any other sinners mock our faith, I actually expect it.
I do not like Christians who mock other's beliefs either. I do not mind them challenging them or engaging them in debate, but we should be humble, informed and always ready to give reason for the hope within us.

It is true that Jehovah's Witnesses are not loved by everyone.
http://jw-media.org/newsroom/human_rights.htm
Some people hate Jehovah's Witnesses out of ignorance, or over some misunderstanding. A few may have had a bad personal experience with an individual who claimed to be a Jehovah's Witness, and prejudicially extended their animus to this entire Christian religion.
However, it seems that the majority of anti-Witness hatred is motivated by religious intolerance and bigotry. A few may even be motivated against their Christian worship by the unseen 'god of this system of things', Satan the Devil.
(2 Corinthians 4:4) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers
Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

I forgot which one i'm . . . Oh sure . . . atheist pretending to be Christian . . . right here is going . . . "Oh settle for Jesus and God into your existence. Now do not you experience good deep down on your authentic soul. Your adverse soul have been captured by ability of the devil and now you're unfastened . . . and the fact shall make you unfastened . . . Jesus loves you . . . you at the instant are not all lonely and unhappy anymore and anyone at church can not often wait to kiss you and hug you and welcome you into God's kin. Who said that Christians don't like it when atheists make fun of their beliefs?
I don't mind it at all. In fact it gives Christians a great opportunity to witness to the truth of the Gospel. So, I say to atheists 'bring it on', we are ready and waiting for anything you can taunt us with.
For every insult we receive, we are simply enduring a little of what Jesus and His disciples had to endure. They were mocked by some people, because there will always be those who do not love the truth.

I think Christians should be prepared to have their beliefs questioned by atheists. They have a real problem because an atheist demands proof of the existence of God whereas a Christian relies on faith alone.
They are in the position of the monk who, after a lifetime of devotion discovers that God doesn't exist after all!!!
There is no justification for us to make fun of any religion and them likewise. I respect people's right to hold those beliefs however daft they are.

This is just typical of divisive questions put on this site. The so called tolerant raving about others and at the same time causing division. The intolerance of the so called tolerant. Look to your self first before blame and remember the kettle is a bit tainted as is the pot. You expect perfection where there is none and that's your own responsibility. You have to take that responsibility back. If you can't see the difference and have to blame, then you need to ask your self why.

I agree that other so called Christians make fun of all of the groups you mentioned, but I just wanted to point out that JW's DO consider themselves Christians as they obey Jesus` command to "go and preach the good news" and "make disciples of all the nations". I think the slander of any religion outside of your own gets it's fair share of criticism. and really doesn't accomplish much, and tends to bring out the worst in all.

While I may not understand the beliefs of others, I do not make fun of them. Do not assume that all Christians are like this, we are not. Unfortunately, not everyone was raised to be tolerant and respectful of others. My husband and I as parents will do our part and raise our children to be respectful of all religions, faiths, beliefs, and human beings in general. God bless you

You are speaking about a very small minority that live the 'religious' way and are indeed very hypocritical.
Many Christians respect the choices of others, but we all believe our calling is to make disciples of others and just want to share our faith in the love and grace of JC with everyone else.

I could not care less what a atheist thinks or makes fun of, as to the jw's I don't make fun of them, I do find it funny that they openly deny the son of the God they claim to worship. I do not make fun of the Jewish people and in fact have great regard and respect for them. As to the pagans? they worship trees ok? give me a brake, they probably drive by a sawmill and think of it as most would a butcher shop.

The trouble with "educated" atheists is that keep on coming out with the same old stuff we have all heard a thousand times before. I tend to find myself thinking, "Oh, not that one again. Can't they come up with something new?"
You know the sort of thing: Jesus was made son of God at Nicea. Religion is a way of controlling the prols. The Bible was rewritten at the behest of the Roman emporer. Jesus never existed, and so on.
Science has disproved religion is another one.
