I dont want to have to suffer and truly diet, but I'm willing to cut out my usual doughnuts and fast food breakfasts.. no chips and desserts at lunch at work.. .use diet pops when I have alcohol....drink just water or milk other times, no pops.....cut out butter and sourcream that I love....also eat very small portions at dinners.

I have an eliptical machine I just got and love.. and can do at least 30 minutes most every day at #3 resistance (it goes 1-10)

Thats a lil bit about me...any advice or suggestions? I will be happy with at least a 5 lb weight loss in the 3 weeks but more would be great!

My first advice is to drop alcohol altogether. There is nothing worse for a diet than alcohol. It contains large amounts of empty calories and a grain sugar called maltose which is the highest on the glycemic index-- not something a dieter wants in their body. If you want to lose the weight, you're going to have to suffer the sobriety. Alcohol ruins diets!

Don't eat very small portions. Just remember to quit eating when you're not quite full and eat slowly, so as not to overeat. Eat lots of high-fiber and high-protein foods and a decent amount of complex carbs WITH the protein and fiber. The carbs give you energy to be active and the protein and fiber use up a lot of energy just to digest.

Instead of the eliptical machine, which will build lean muscle, try going out for jogs or walks. Walking and jogging are, hands down, the best exercise for losing weight.

Remember that a good weight loss goal per week is two pounds, with 3-5 the first week. If you only lose two pounds a week, don't be discouraged-- this is actually ideal!

Providing your diet isn't super rich in Calories, you should be able to drop 5-10 pounds in 3 weeks by working out for 30-45 minutes 5-6 times a week without having to change your diet. Obviously cutting the junk food from your diet will help you lose more. But rather than skipping breakfast, have some fruit and a piece of toast. If you need to eat out for lunch, go with a grilled sandwich or a salad rather than something fried - and skip the fries or onion rings.

If you are willing to do the things you said (cut out sugars, fast foods, desserts, etc...) and exercise, than that's all you have to do.

I would recommend exercising 5-6 times a week for at least 30 minutes. Try substituting 1 fruit and 1 vegetable where you would eat other foods each day.

Get plenty of rest as well. That really helps.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

It has merely been a week. provide it time. Your modern-day weight-relief plan and workout application might actually be working. till you have a gymnasium club and hit the weights and the spinning training and the cardio machines 5 situations a week, seem to lose a pound all and sundry to 2 weeks. I additionally recommend not making drastic differences yet by using fact the greater you could consume the ingredients you like, the greater probably you will stick to the load-relief plan for the long term. (Skim milk is nasty!) or maybe then, you're able to not initiate weighing your self for a pair of month. Why? Your physique makeup is changing and you're including greater muscle which weighs greater effective than fat. If after a month, you nevertheless are not seeing effects, initiate tweaking the plan then. upload a splash greater workout or replace your weight-relief plan a splash. the secret's having a protracted term outlook. The greater drastic and short term your outlook the greater probably you would be to drop the load-relief plan and workout plan and earnings all the load back and greater.

Well, without the items you state you won't eat, and excercising more, I would cut out the alcohol, as it is and does put on the pounds. There are great Fibre bars, that are great, and keep you full for hours, and are easy to pack in a purse or bag. Veggies for lunch without cheese on them, and or big salad with lowfat dressing, for dinner. Good ole oatmeal for breakfast, or non-sweetened cereal (I don't put sugar on my cereal, except for oatmeal, then a bit of brown sugar and cinnamon) More fruits, cut up apples and carry with you in a ziplock bag, they are easy to nibble on if cut up ahead of time. So are veggies, like carrots, celery, broccilli, all easy to do and carry with. Drink more water, like 2 liters a day, and your intake of other drinks won't be as much. Eat every 3 hours, not a huge meal but eating more often helps to reset your metabolism to burn more calories, and you won't want to eat a big big meal. You should have no problem in losing the 10 lbs in 3 weeks.
