I have heard many theories ranging from it means purebread to it means shes smart. My dog is not purebread, half husky half lab. she is smart though

There are over 38 breeds of dogs that can have spots on their tongues. Labs and Huskeys are both on that list.
It's not an indicator of genius, just an indicator of excess pigmentation in some of the cells of her tongue.
Either that, or your dog has been eating grape popsicles!

It does NOT mean the dog has chow in it. It's just pigmentation.
Just because I have freckles on my face does not mean I'm of a particular heritiage or I'm smarter than somebody else.

If its just in one spot on the tongue, it could be a birth mark. I had a dog with one, and the vet said that's what it was.

A big Pet PEEVE.
Means nothing!!!
Doesn't mean there is chow. I hate that.
One of my dogs ate a black pen one time and someone went sill its a chow. Its a freaking flat coat and did you notice his teeth are black too.

My Siberian Husky has a spot on her tongue.

Do you mean it's partially pink and partially black/dark purple colored? If so, she probably has some Chow in her.
