If humans are so intelligently designed why is our digestive system so inefficient?

A truly intelligent designer would have made us absorb our food with 100% efficiency and never have to poop.

Why do we have to eat, breathe and speak through the same hole? Doesn't that just open up all kinds of choking dangers? Very poor design.

Insha'Allah, should one learn to eat correctly (i.e., the correct foods, prepared in the correct manner, eaten at correct times, masticated correctly, etc., the human digestive system is marvelously efficient!
It is now seen as inefficient due to the current eating habits and horrible man processed foods we now consume due to our ego and ignorance.

Insha'Allah, it is also amazing that anyone would possess such an ego as to say the actions of Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala are not correct while that same said person or persons themselves could not have originated anything that Allah (swt) has created nor do they understand the same fully so as to utilize if "efficiently".

Insha'Allah, all of creation is wonderfully (.e., literally filled with wonder) designed down to the most minute detail. We have been blessed with some limited knowledge regarding the same and we have learned to exploit that knowledge to some good and some bad results, however, no human has ever designed nor could a human design such a world, a cosmos, as we live in. Alhumdulillah!

Insha'Allah, instead of complaining, we should all be giving thanks and praise to Allah (swt), following His teachings and revelations and striving to make the best use of all with which we have been blessed. Alhumdulillah!

We live in time and space, in the finite material creation. All physical bodies have some method of discarding waste - there is no other way unless you ingest the exact amount of substance needed to sustain the body. Even plants give off "waste" in the form of oxygen.This is largely impossible due to the immaturity of the evolving individuals and ignorance of the chemical reactions within the body. In the next phase, which is comprised of 570 phases, or spheres existing between time and space and eternity and infinity, there is no material waste. The first seven of those spheres were referred to when Jesus said "My Father has many "mansion" worlds. From sphere to sphere you grow less material, more intellectual, and slightly more spiritual. The spiritual progress is greatest on the last three of these seven progressive worlds.

If I had been intelligently designed, I wouldn't be capable of getting cancer or having heart failure, etc, b/c of innocent enough behaviors...or genetic influence.
(IE-My friend has a good chance of getting lung cancer b/c she has diabetes and her mother smoked like a chimney while she was growing up. She never smokes so it will be infuriating if she does develop lung cancer.)

Part of the reason why we poop so much is that we eat things that we aren't supposed to eat/don't need to eat, like fast food, etc. If we ate more balanced and nutritious diets...

what are u talking? if you just eat and don't poop they u know the world wouldn't be as developed as it is now...we need a pound of chicken for the whole month...there will be chaos and and laziness infested in this world..god made such an intelligent design that its fool proof and perfect...

God made our digestive system very efficient....

we are the ones who chose to eat garbage, unclean, processed stuff and then have to take pills for gas and heart burn and constipation...

Then what would we be doing with those waste byproducts? Look around...everything that has an intake also has an exhaust.
