I think so. The only thing that can make ANY situation easier is time! Think back to MINOR situations you have incurred that were very upsetting to you in the past and see now how you probably really dont care anymore. Not to mention you can probably sit there and say "everything worked out one way or another"

Some things will hurt forever and nothing will take that away, but time sure will make the wretched feelings a little better day by day.

I think time always helps, but it doesn't heal all wounds. Sometimes people are just too hurt. But time usually makes it hurt less, and that's worth a lot.

It was true. Before the discovery of antibiotics, time was the only cure for wounds, excepting leaves of some special trees.

Well, actively bleeding wounds don't do well with just time.
