Raven, come to think of it, I haven't yet. but wait, but let me check in my Bible, as soon as I brush off the dust from it, if there's a copy of a sinner's prayer there, I haven't memorized it. I'll pray it as soon as I find it. I want to be saved you know. thanks for the reminder! :))

Isnt that the way we are supposed to pray? I have always prayed in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit even when I was a protestant.

Yes

Catholic prayer begins and ends with the Sign of the Cross. Ideally, prayer should be offered facing East when possible.

Nope. I pray to the Father through Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is my interpreter and brings messages from God and Jesus to me.

I do ... but then again I'm Catholic ... so I tend to stick with original Christianity as opposed to all the fruitcake ideas of fundamentalists.

edit: tur b, have you prayed your sinner's prayer today? Just a friendly reminder.

No not all Christians pray like that..Catholics for example pray to Mother Mary but really the message is for all three so you know...
I personally think the Father and the Holy Spirit is the same thing and that Jesus is a separate identity.. the people who believe that all three are the same thing call it the Holy Trinity..I think
I don't really read the bible because well when I was taught the bible all I was told was that you can never be good enough to get into heaven.Being told that no matter what I do I'm going to hell is kind of discouraging to a child at least it was to me..I don't like being bullied into a religion..but I do believe in God so yeah..

My prayers are directed to Jehovah God, in the name of His Son Jesus Chirst.
This is how Jesus taught his disciples and all those who listened how to pray.
Read Matthew 6;9

I tend to pray in the name of Jesus. Although Jesus when He taught us to pray only mentioned the Father.
