LONDON (Reuters) - Net migration to Britain eased further from record peaks last year as the number of people leaving the country hit a record high, offsetting inflows from the European Union, official data showed on Wednesday

I think its still Brits escaping from the mess New Labour have got us into.

You are absolutely right. Most people are fed up, with a combination of high taxes and inferior services.

Most of the increase in taxes has gone to fund the inflated salaries, of the party members, running the quangoes. As a result we have to put up with:-
1) Shortage of dentists, midwives, consultants of all
disciplines, particularly orthopaedics.
2) Undisclosed and uncontrolled numbers, of legal and illegal
immigrants, putting strain on most services.
3) Unaffordable house prices, rising inflation and debt.
4) Rising levels of crime, (Despite Browns phony statistics.)
5) More drug and alcohol problems, than ever before.
6) Most things controlled by politically correct imbeciles.
7) Anybody English being treated as third class citizens.

I could go on, but by now you should get the picture.

Im kind of torn
On one hand ,the country has been destroyed irrepairably by new labour.the immigrants are churning out offspring at a rate that almost makes it look like they are trying to take our country from us by sheer population.

This makes me want to flea this filthy, oppressive police state before it completes its descent into the third world.

But then ,is that the bulldog spirit that this sceptered isle is known for?
maybe I should stay and try to change things. The obstacle being is that I feel almost alone in these feelings. The 10 years of new labour have brainwashed all our school leavers and gullible adults into believing that immigrants have arrived to rescue us from ourselves.

I will gauge the support of the genuinebritish over the next couple of years. If they have the backbone to vote in a party that will sweep out the trash then I will stay.

One of my good friends has just emigrated, I will be following him shortly. In the UK the Government just keep taxing more and more, so the harder you work the less you get. Where are those extra taxes being spent? Well perhaps the influx of economic migrants answers the question.

Will the last Brit leaving the Country leave the lights on for the immigrants. The only issue is who will pay the electric bill when we have left?

Its us English who are completely fed up with being dictated to from Brussels and by the Scottish junta lead by Robber Brown.

Pansy, maybe you should lead the civil war, because the only way to stop the change and reverse the influx will be to kill all the Labour and Liberal Democrat politicians who are giving our country away to Brussels.

US father, UK mother and a citizen of both. Live and travel between both.

It would appear that the english are just handing over the country to immigrants. The UK has an opportunity.... just say no. You can see the change everywhere.

Who is leaving this country? cowards. Why dont they stand up and put the money where their mouth is. Only rats leave a sinking ship, the rest of us fight. When the going gets tough in their new chosen country they will be back with their tails between their legs. Bet none of them give up their British passport or pensions. Good riddence.

Well they are not only escaping the mess they know that is some EU countries they can get benefit as well. its not all Labours fault.

private with that emblem of Fascism. your a disgrace, going on about grandfathers dying for Britain, they did they were fighting the scum who marched under that emblem of tyranny, racism, bigotry. not only British but the world fought to put an end to the scum that used it. so why are you using it, think its smart using it a few days after Remembrance Sunday do you. I don't and would feel that most of the people on here would feel the same way.

Whose fault is this mess? Young people drink themselves into oblivion every day and trash their local area; others take illegal substances and commit crimes to support their habit.

Young people have unprotected sex and end up pregnant or with STDs. Other people join gangs and stab or shoot one another. Feral kids roaming the streets at all hours when they should be at home in bed.

Any government can introduce all the laws it wants but at the end of day, much of this mess is down to personal choices being made by individuals. These examples are nothing to do with immigration either.

And who says that emigrating to another country will be any better? I would rather be in the UK with the NHS, decent prospects for education and jobs for my children, the opportunity to make my own decisions about my life and how I spend my money, where I can have freedom of speech and to practice my own religion, where there is anti-discrimination law and measures to protect my family, a strong legal system to protect my home and rights, a free press, relatively low inflation than not.

All countries have their problems as well as their good points and to move abroad away from family and friends may not be all picket fences and roses around the door as it first seems.
