Once you are beyond the realm of mind through meditation, automatically you are out of illusion.

Drawn beyond the realm of mind and illusion... Into what I wonder. I mean, certainly this existence could be considered a realm of mind and illusion (with much of our lives actually completely in our own head of perception, intention, understanding etc.) - can you fathom what is beyond that?

I have heard stories of those achieving a state of mind to transcend the physical (is that the illusion?) and sort of return to a natural spirit energy state, temporarily. Some have revelled in what they consider out of body experiences. Some have be unnerved by the ever expanding diaphanous feeling of that state.

I figure when we die we will revert and that will be the time to go beyond. We have such a short time in this life, why keep running home when there is so much to do here, that can't be done later?

Peace!

You can go beyond the realm of mind and illusion by controlling and becoming the master of your mind and abandoning the illusion through knowing the TRUTH. You can then move on the the higher realms of spirituality and wisdom.

Silence can be attained in one seccond. Try it - you will see that if you have the determined thought to remain silent - it will take you less than one second to become silent. However chatter of the mind also happens just as easy - in less than a second. So the more you practice silence the more you create and empower the habit of being silent, beyond the mind and illusion - like a detached observer (sakshi). The more you practice staying beyond the more this habit will become natural and easily accesible at any time for however much time you wish. So here too practice is the way.

Meditation is the right way to go beyond the realm of mind and illusion. Fortunately, there are many methods of meditation. Therefore one can choose a method of his/her liking. It is helpful since going beyond the realm of mind and illusion helps a person to evolve and get enlightened. One gets to know his/her true self. This I know because I have experienced it myself.

By learning the lessons we are sent here to learn. It takes time, study, practise and patience but the closer to the divine we become the further from the ego (mind) and the curtain of illusion we get.

One way I try is to keep in mind that I do not know everything. No matter how sure I am of my perceptions of God, life, the world, there is always a chance that I could be wrong. Or if not wrong, then not all the way right.

This keeps me pressing on to the realities behind the physical world around me.

The whole field of quantum physics tells us that the world is in some ways an illusion. What we consider to be real is the resulting effects of the dreams of illusion from ourselves and others. Emmanuel Swedenborg the Swedish mystic tells us that the real world is the spiritual world and that the influx from this world is what makes our world exist. Without your connection to this world there is no you. Your perception of the world is what makes it real.
I tend to agree. ................
