From what I'm reading, you seem to have a former wife and Stacy Peterson confused. Police investigated 18 incidents with Mr Petersons former spouse.

Another issue is when police investigate circumstances such as this...it's normally a misdemeanor offense at most. As such the victim must sign a warrant not the police. Although newer laws enable police to make misdemeanor arrests in domestic violence cases...there has to be (in my jurisdiction) visible signs of an altercation. Without have proof...the agency is opened for a libel suit.

I can just see my tax dollars going higher to pay off those lawsuits if you were to start making false arrests.

Why didn't the police investigate the death of his third wife better. A pathologist examined her and concluded murder. Where were the police then? They were his friends. I know from experience, "brothers stick together." That is what I was told, at least.

Let's give the police a break, I'm sure they have a legitimate excuse. Like we were busy eating donuts.

I would assume working with her husband. Not knowing that he was a murderer

They weren't there, because she didn't call.
