Believe me some people believe that if they give thumbs down,the others will loose points but that is not true,thums down means nothing but it is so hard for some people to explain this.it seems that they are getting satisfied by giving thumbs down :)

It makes me wonder, when the Best Answer gets its ten points and gets points for the thumbs up, are the thumbs down subtracted from that?

I never noticed because I NEVER get thumbs down. :D

Also, anyone who doesn't like chocolate bars (and I think you specified caramel chocolate bars - you blasphemous heathen!) deserves not just thumbs down but excommunication from the Answers community. ;)

some people are just sad I'm afraid. I got thumbs down when answering a Q about disabilities. thumb downed me for having arthritis, nice eh

I was always curious about...why people give thumbs-down to the questions like (height,weight,hair/eyes colour etc.)

Maybe they're jealous :D

It's Alzheimer's Disease. People can't control their muscles any more and keep clicking their mousebutton. And things will get worse once everyone has an iPhone.

Oh its very normal sweetie,i always get thumbs down for no reasons.

For example i say:I dont like chocolate bars,now see how much i get thumbs down lol
