We live in a linear world called time. Time has a beginning and an end and sadly we are wearing blinders so we cannot see time pass we only feel it. We cannot see exactly where it ends or how we just travel through it from beginning to end. And whats even worse is that because we live in this linear world so far we can only travel one direction. Forward not Backward. Fate gives us memories so that we can remember the journey, yet ironically enough we can never repeat the journey. And no matter what we do eventually we have to reach the end sadly some sooner than others. Everyone takes a different journey but we all reach the same destination. Long story short, There is no forever! Once you realize that then your question has a simple answer. Just think about it even if you find the ONE, even if a relationship is long or short in the grand scheme of things time just sees that relationship as a future memory or stream of memories in your journey.

You cannot tell, just believe in the love you have for each other and remember to compromise. but it wont always feel that way. a good relationship takes hard work and determination on both parts. both people have to be willing to sacrifice and if you keep in mind why you are with that person in the first place, you could definately be together forever. too many people give up too soon. (i believe that couples go through the same kinds of hardships and only the strong will survive them.) as long as you are willing (and truely willing) to give all you have in life for that person, then i think you are probably fine.

Forever is a nice idea (in some ways) but not often reality these days. Relationships should last as long as they are good and right for all involved, however long that is.
