. The Bible was written by men documenting the events that occurred, based on information expressed by eyewitnesses. The confusion you iterate is not confusion, but the opinions of those men "reporting" the testimony of the witnesses. Just like the four major news reporting agencies covering an event but phrasing it differently. Thus, the Bible is true in God's Word from the statements of the witnesses. God is not confused, only people who ask.

There is no confusion in God. The Word of God is Truth.
Jesus Christ said in John 6:63 ".....the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life."
Mathew 24:35 "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."
Psalms 138:2 "for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name."
Psalsms 119:89 "for ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven."
It brings salvation: "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God." (1 Peter 1:23)
It produces faith: "...faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Roman 10:17)
It produces spiritual growth: ".....desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:" (1 Peter 2:2)
Even Satan attacks the human race with a direct attack on the word of God! Genesis 3:1 says, "Nor the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he aid unto the woman, YEA, HATH GOD SAID....?" Satan planted a seed of doubt into the mind of Eve. And as Eve questioned the truthfulness of God's Word - the fall of mankind was only a BITE away.
There is an attack on the deity of Jesus Christ and it can be seen in these new Bible translations which are copy righted.
The King James Version is not bound by man - no copyright!
If you have a King James Bible - You have the Word of God and don't let anybody take it from you!
Dr. frank Logsdon was co-founder of The New American Standard Version. As people begin confronting Dr. Logsdon on some of the NASV's serious omissions and errors. he re-examined the evidence and this was his verdict: "I must under God denounce every attachment to the New American Standar d Version. I'm afraid I'm in trouble with the Lord...I wrote the format...I wrote the preface...I'm in trouble; ...its wrong, terribly wrong; its frighteningly wrong...the deletions are absolutely frightening ...there are so many...Are we so naive that we do not suspect Satanic deception in all of this?"
Dr. Frank Logsdon, Co-founder, New American Standard Version
Did you know, the King James Bible is the only English Bible in the world that has a command to "study" your Bible! That's right! 2 timothy 2:15, "STUDY to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" - has been changed in every English Bible on the face of this earth! BUT ONE!
I just learned this from "The Attack on the Bible" from Terry Watkins, and I went looking since I own almost every version and found this to be true.
Fifty years ago, folks, the only Bible you could find was the King James Version and now they come out of the woodwork.
Satan knows - if he can supplant even a small seed of doubt in God's Word - mankind will look elsewhere.
Never in history has such doubt and confusion over the Bible existed as is today. And nothing has flamed the fire of confusion and doubt over the Bible more than the scores of different translations flooding the scene. Every six months a new English version appears is what Time Magazine reported.
Satan is the author of confusion!!!

General speaking, the author is the best one to have explain a book. God is not confused about what he said in the Bible. Nor are most of the people who read. Most of it is pretty straight forward.
I like what Mark Twain said about it. "Its not the parts of the Bible I don't understand that bother me. Its the parts I do."

The Bible can not be "true" there is absolutely no evidence for any of the miraculous events that it describes, not only that but there are many documented contradictions and it is obvious that the roles of both God and Satan change/evolve over time.

No, "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, (1 Cor 14:33), and Jesus is "the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him" (Heb. 5:9). However, those whose hearts are hardened, loving sin over Him, are confused as seek Him not, and grope in darkness, and sadly so shall their end be. Yet such were some who later turned to Christ, and now see the glory of God.

I would be satisfied by one document written by Jesus.
Not clenching evidence of divinity, but it would suggest that Jesus really existed. But we walk before we run.. so, it's been 2000 years, no rush!
